Double click that file and the adobe connect add in window will act like it's opening. In this folder you will find a file with the adobe connect logo, surprisingly also called adobeconnectaddin. I checked the working mac and noticed that in the Privacy/Accessibility option 'adobeconnectaddin' option was available.
